sushi_food.jpgEither people can’t get enough of sushi to the extent that they’re excited to read whole books about it or it’s a concidence that several sushi-focused books will arrive on bookshelves in the same month.  On today’s Kojo Nnamdi, Trevor Korson, author of The Zen of Fish:  The Story of Sushi from Samurai to Supermarket gives an interesting interview.  If you can’t make his Politics and Prose talk on Wednesday night, check out the podcast here.

Also released in May is The Sushi Economy and later in the month, the cookbook Sushi and Traditional Japanese Cooking: 150 Timeless Classics and Regional Recipes  in late June.  I don’t know that I’ll ever end up trying to make my own sushi, but all this talk does make me want to snag a seat at Sushi Ko’s bar this week. . . .
